Hey John and Bob,
I was throwing an idea out about maybe a podcast spotlighting an indie publisher. Not like just one title from that publisher but the publisher itself and examples of great books from that publisher. I was just thinking it would be cool for listeners to learn about more titles and the publishers putting them out. Just a thought. Thanks guys! Love all that you do for us listeners and fans.

We've been kicking around the idea of doing a "Publisher Spotlight" show for a while......

One thing is to decide if we want to do a current publisher like Red 5 / Radical / IDW / etc, or a defucnt one like Crossgen or Malibu....

One older publisher that i'd love to hear a show on would be Valiant. I've always wanted to hear you guys' opinion on which titles to try reading. Never had a chance to read any of that stuff yet.

For a current publisher, I like your ideas for Red 5 or IDW. Maybe even Viper, Oni Press, or Ape.

Valiant would be worth discussing.

Red 5 needs a little more time before there is enough material to really justify a Publisher Spotlight episode on it.

My exposure to IDW is a bit limited but I think between me and Bob that we could probably do a good job on it.

I don't think I've read enough from Viper or Oni at this point to feel comfortable doing a Publisher Spotlight on those two.

My understanding is that there already is a podcast about Ape so I don't know if there is any point in doing a Publisher Spotlight on them.

How about Chimaera Comics, a new publisher using a Wowio -> Print-On-Demand -> TPB model?
