8 different cans! Collect them all!

I bought a couple of 12 packs hoping to get a decent variety from the 24 cans. Wrong!

Both 12 packs had nothing but Black Widow cans.

I went back to target and checked the whole stack. ~30 12 packs, all Black Widow. Checked another Target, another ~20 Black Widow 12-packs.

Wal-Mart, Vons, Stater Bros markets, none of them even have these 12-packs.

I'm guessing it's not going to be easy to put together a set of these, but I've got a lock on Black Widow cans if anyone is interested in doing some trades at SDCC.

Try checking convenience stores like 7-11 and at gas stations. They might have a different enough supply chain to have a better assortment of cans.

Yeah, upon reflection, that may be what's going on.

Next time they restock it could be all Loki or Cap or something.

They did the can art thing with the Cap movie last year as well and I still need to track down one or two of them. I got to it a little late but found that individual cans at places like a liquor store don't move as quick as say places that sell cheaper and in bulk like a grocery store.

I forgot to check for these during my shopping yesterday. I think I'm only going to target the Cap can.

Other than an Avengers logo on the 2-liter, I haven't seen anything up here in the Bay Area. Not a thing!!!

Meanwhile, the stores are fully stocked with Avengers toys.

Haven't seen any of the cans either. Plenty of toys.

funny side note, my wife took a PT job at Old Navy and they have a bunch of new Avengers shirts but they are hidden in the back of the store. She tells the manager "hey, you would be smart to move these to the front along with all the others as ECCC is coming up and the Avengers movie is next and going to be huge." Next time she was there, shirts were on dummies at the front.

The 12 packs have arrived here. I bought one of the regular, one diet, and one diet cherry. If you need an Iron Man, Loki, and Black Widow, I got lots of them. Still on the hunt for Cap.

I'll have to look into the other kinds (Regular & Diet cherry).

What characters were on what cans. I assume Black Widow was on the regular diet.

Iron Man on Dr. Pepper
Black Widow on Diet Dr. Pepper
Loki on Diet Cherry Dr. Pepper

Soda machine @ work is spitting out Iron Man Dr. Pepper cans as of today, so I'm covered on that one.

OK, I just need to get a 12-pack of Hawkeye & I'll be able to build sets.

They didn't originally have a key printed on the box to where you can find which cans, but they are doing that now.....

If anyone wants to get a set from me in San Diego (or Phoenix, or anywhere else), I'll make a set for you for $4. Let me know & I'll pull the cans aside before I let my kids & their friends drink all the spares.....
