Great round table type discussion on some things that could improve in the comics you're both reading.

Bob, I understand what you're saying about the increase of amputations. It's been done too many times and it's time to give that story idea a rest for awhile. I think it's easier for an editor to shock with readers with an amputation then it is a character death. It could be the next ad for DC comics, "Hey kids! Amputations, it's the next best thing to an actual character death."

I'm still in the middle of it, but wanted to say congrats! well done.

I drive a truck for a living and my current run takes me from the Chicago metro area to the middle of Iowa and back every night. Needless to say the sameness to my route can get a bit tedious and podcasts like yours make the nights go by just a little bit faster.

So, for doing what you do for little more than just the love of comics, I salute you and say thanks and I look forward to many more!
