This will save us from having to go back and re-think about everything when we're trying to put together the "worst" part of the "year-in-review 2008" next January.

Writing - Frank Miller - All Star Batman & Robin
Note: Thanks to Mike for reminding me about this title. While the art is superb, the writing makes me cringe. Let's see if someone can "best" FM at being "worst" between now & the end of the year.
Writing - Dishonorable mention- Grant Morrison - Final Crisis & Batman
Note: A lot of people love Morrison's writing, I find it to be an acquired taste that I have not acquired. Not a good choice for putting on major events and major characters.
Art - Damion Scott - DC Special: Raven
Character/Team - N/A
Note: Not really any character that screamed out "bad". Bad writing, but no bad characters/teams that I read.

Looks like we're already starting to see some trends. Particularly against in terms of the writing for Mr. Loeb.

Perhaps this is another case of television writers who look at comic books as a "past time" rather than their true vocation. I included him on my list due to ALL of his Marvel work. His performance on Wolverine was particularly lacklustre.

I harken back to when his writing on Batman/Superman made it to my top 3 favorites list. Those first dozen or so issues were great.
