Does anyone else find IDW's tendency to do stuff like this tiresome?

A tale torn from the original 1976 Kiss comic, courtesy of Chris "God of Thunder" Ryall and Alan "War Machine" Robinson!

The problem with hotlinking is that the people on the other end of the hotlink generally do one of 2 things
1) Move the pic so the hotlink doesn't work (that's what happened in your case, the picture was not showing up in the post when I was reading it)
2) substitute the original hotlinked pic with something really nasty that is not what you ha intended to link to & share.
In general, if you want to share a pic from the internet, upload it to your photobucket (or whatever) account & link it from there.

It is also generally considered to be almost "stealing" bandwidth. If you were to hotlink to something on this site, I'm the one who would end up paying any bandwidth costs, not you or the site you hotlinked from. People generally frown on that.
