Last Days of Animal Man.....

Post by BobBretall »

I just read issues #2 & 3, and I must say that I am LOVING this series......extremely well told story by Gerry Conway, and really nice art too.....

Set in the near future (maybe 10-15 years down the line) as Buddy is losing his connection to the morphogenetic field that gives him his powers.

Check it out!

I just picked issue #1 up tonight at a meetup based on what I've heard.

I thoroughly enjoyed this series. I'm looking forward to more from Conway. I was always a fan back in his comic book heyday, especially with Firestorm and JLofA, but I've been wary when my heroes of a bygone era come back to comic books, as it can often be disappointing. No such worries here. Conway still has the juice, and Batista's art was fantastic.

Fantastic series. I really enjoyed reading this book every month. Great story and great artwork. It was what I expected but I course I love Gerry Conway. Firestorm was one of my favorites of all time and I have read most of his work and it is fantastic.

Nice ending to the series! Not what I was expecting, but it worked really well.

Bravo to Gerry Conway!
