Absolutely loved this mini-series. So much fun and the art was gorgeous. I usually don't double dip, but I'll definitely be picking up the hardcover when it's released.

Did it finish? I've loved what I read so far, but for some reason I thought there was one more issue still to come. Maybe I missed it.Koete wrote:Absolutely loved this mini-series. I'm wondering about that, too. I buy FF monthly, but I've been WFTT on 1985 and Old Man Logan. For those who have read all 3, is there ANY connection to be made yet? Or does it all remain to be seen? Will FF be the place thwere the conenctions are established?JLAFan wrote:I'm also looking forward to getting #6 in my next DCBS shipment.
This has been a great series so far, and I'm REALLY curious about how it's going to tie into the FF & "Old Man Logan" stuff also written by Millar......

I do seem some connections between the Old Man Logan storyline in Wolverine and the current arc in Fantastic Four. But other than being told that Marvel 1985 will connect to the other titles somehow, I'm not sure how it does.

Yeah. I read it last night and aside from a single character being set up in the Marvel Universe, I'm not seeing much of a connection either.JLAFan wrote:I read 1985 #6 and I don't see an existing connection to the other stories, though I do see where Millar could weave something in during subsequent stories.....

Not just that character being set in the MarvelU, but also the apparent ability of ANOTHER character to influence things that happen in the MarvelU.johnmayo wrote:Yeah. Good point. But it does seem like a deus ex machina kind of plot device and one I'd rather not see used again.JLAFan wrote:Not just that character being set in the MarvelU, but also the apparent ability of ANOTHER character to influence things that happen in the MarvelU.johnmayo wrote:Yeah.
