Warren Ellis' Planetary - Just started this. Almost done with the first trade. One thing I have learned from reading Warren Ellis whom I love the work. Don't be sleepy when reading his comics. You will have to start over.
Planetary is one of my favorite series. I love that title. It's easier to read now rather than waiting throughout the publishing delays when it was new.

My first Warren Ellis work I read was his Thunderbolts run at Marvel. It was amazing.

I read Ignition City and Captain Swing at Avatar. Loved both.

I read the first issue of Fell and it was fantastic.

So, yeah, I will be on a Warren Ellis kick this year. I love his work.

Read his Ministry of Space two weeks ago. Fun book.

Slow week for March 1:
• Batman #18--Bane is back & he doesn't seem happy
• Superman #18--'Superman Reborn' 4 issue cross-over with Action Comics starts
• Paper Girls #12--The Girls are now in the future or maybe its the past...well I'm pretty sure its not the 80's or 90's
• Walking Dead #165--yup, its still kicking along just fine

Some stuff for this week.

1. Nailbiter #30 (Image) - Extra sized final issue of a very good series. Hate to see it go but it has been a fun ride.
2. Rat Queens #1 (Image) - I loved the first volume when it started, but the controversies caused me to lose interest fast. We will give this an issue or two and see if it clicks with me.
3. Walking Dead #165 (Image)
4. America #1 (Marvel) - Giving this one a try. We are running low on Captain America type characters in the Marvel Universe. Only four or five running around currently.
5. Avengers #5 (Marvel)
6. Champions #6 (Marvel)
7. Monsters Unleashed #4 (Marvel)
8. Moon Knight #12 (Marvel)
9. Motor Girl #4 (Abstract Studios) - Very good book.
10. Riverdale #0 (Archie)
11. Rough Riders Nation #1 (Aftershock) - High hopes for this one based off the previous series.
12. X-Files #11 (Idw) - I love the X-Files in all shapes and forms.
For DC this week I'm still in on Aquaman, but behind. In on Batman, out on Cyborg, out on Hawkman, in on Green Arrow (barely hanging on), in on Green Lanterns, out on Harley Quinn, in on Justice League, out on Midnighter and Apollo, in on Nightwing, in on Superman, out on Captain Atom.

Few things of interest this week

1. Man Thing #1 (Marvel) - I like Goosebumps, I like Man Thing, maybe this will be good.
2. Infinite 7 #2 (Action Lab) - Fun first two issues.
3. Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys #1 (Dynamite) - This was decent. Basically it's Riverdale.
4. Copperhead #11 (Image) - Yay!
5. Lost Boys #6 (DC) - This was a pretty good mini for a property I enjoy.
6. Justice League Power Rangers #3 (DC)
7. IVX #6 (Marvel) - I've enjoyed this series.
8. Titans #9 (DC) - One of my favorite ongoing books.
9. Red Hood and the Outlaws #8 (DC) - Rocafort art is really strong and this title has a chance to be good if they don't mess it up.
10. ROM #7 (Idw) - Maybe my last issue of this. It's a decent book but I have too many on the list and I'm slicing and dicing.

Plenty of good books again this week

Catch up : Action Comics Rebirth run - Just started this trade last night. Great first issue. Excited to read more this weekend.
