Re: Collecting Original Art......
I finally went and purchased my first piece of original art. It was page 17 of Demon #57 drawn by John McCrea (and written by Garth Ennis). I have always loved this series, especially a speech Etrigan gives in issue #55. This was only $85 which is cheap compared to a lot of the other things I have seen. I love how on the inks page you can see the word balloons pasted on (and even a couple words within the balloons). Not something you would see today.
I am thinking about framing it along with the comic. What do you all do with your original art pieces? File them away? Hang them up? Just curious.

Right now I am storeing them in a corner. The objective is to get them all framed and hang them, but im not in a permanent place and not a lot of wall space. Looking for a house that has the room for me to display my art in a logical way without encroaching on living space.

I like the idea of framing with the book it came from. Thought of doing that myself with one of my pieces along with a photo of the artist I took when I bought it from her.
