Monthly Skype Call

John, I really enjoy your podcasts and am fascinated by your cataloging process. I wish I were 1% as organized as you are.

Is there any way you could record the skype call and make it available for later download? I'm not able to participate live but I'd love to be able to hear it later.

I think I might have the last few conference calls recorded but, honestly, I'm not sure how much fun they would be to listen to after the fact. I'm not sure if I'd want to release it on the feed as an episode of the podcast but if people want, I can post the one we are having tomorrow night for downloading.

Also, with the length of the past few calls... wouldn't be too feasible...

The Previews Spotlight is sometihng that Bob and I are doing to sort of expand the reach of the conference call idea. We are still doing the monthly conference calls but they tend to be too long and informal to release as podcasts.

The Previews Spotlight is a tighter and more focused episode going over similar ground and includes clips from various people spotlighting items they found of intereest. This seems to work better as a podcast episode than trying to release a six hour free form discussion.

So if you are available for the monthly conference call please join in. If you are interested in submitting a clip for the Previews Spotlights, please do so. If you just want to listen to the Previews Spotlight episodes when they are released, that works too.

Looking forward to this upcoming one. What are the times? I should be working on pages Friday night and would love to join in. Got my Skype all ready!

Also, glad you got the mp3 I sent for the December Previews show. What day will that show go up?
