I’ve been listening to your podcast for about 5 months now and love what you guys do, keep it up.
I love listening to your 'weekly comic’s spotlight' podcasts but I had a question about them. When you guys talk about each comic, you never actually go in-depth (spoilers) on the comics. I would love for you to really go in-depth on the comics you talk about and even talking about the spoilers in them. What does everybody else think?
Thanks

Part of our goal with the Weekly Comics Spotlight is to encourage people to read the comics, not to replace that reading experience. I worry that if we went too in-depth that the episodes could get fairly long and that people might use us as as replacement for reading the comics.
With the Back Issue Spotlight, we do go much more in-depth and we have done some of those episodes featuring more recent issues. The next Back Issue Spotlight covers the recent Superman and the Legion of Super-Heroes storyline from Action Comics.
I am curious what you all think on this. Should we go more in-depth?

I think going into more depth on recent story lines may be better done in the Back Issue Spotlight or as a Round Table discussion on a particular title where we could go in-depth about a particular title.
As John pointed out, we purposely try to keep the WCS episodes spoiler free, but I have no problem "spoiling it up" on other show segments.
While we have historically only done BI Spotlights on relatively old stories, we're going to be trying something new with the next episode (coming soon!)
BI Spotlight #011 will focus on the recent Geoff Johns/Gary Frank Superman & the LSH arc from Action Comics. let us know how much you like us doing more recent storylines and we could do more....

Keep it spoiler free
I also have recently discovered your podcast via Zune. Your reviews of comics are good enough to whet my appetite and empty my pockets The best time to "spoil" would be after the event has time to marinade. So now is good time to spoil Sandman and Preacher . Unfortunately, DC has already spoiled Final Crisis

I enjoy the current format of no spoilers on the Weekly Spotlights and in depth discussion for the Back Issue Spotlight. In addition to not wanting to get spoiled on newer stuff, I think an in depth discussion is more appropriate when looking at several issues in a row, as you do with the Back Issue Spotlights.

Keep it the Same.
You are both doing a wonderful job. I like the format as it is. I get my comics shipped on a monthly basis from DCBS, so a lot of time the ones you guys review I haven't received yet. Instead of spoiling it for me, the show gives me stuff to look for and increases my enjoyment of the book. Keep up the good work!
