Looks pretty cool. Thanks for the link. I may have to convince a friend he "needs to buy this" (In order for me to borrow it from him).

What's so good about it? I just liked the story. I like various dystopian future stories, interesting setting/setup, etc. What I liked about it someone else could hate about it.
cool...looks like it might be interesting. Thanks for the links, Bob. Will try to hunt down the first issue.

I liked Blackacre, but can understand it not resonating with every reader.
what's it about/what's good about it?

Interestingly (or not), "blackacre" is used in law school property course as a sample property (ex. Mr. Jones buys Blackacre for $500 and then deeds it back to Mr. smith.....). Although I assume the comic isn't about property law??

I also like dystopian future stories, but this didn't resonate with me. I think it might have been the apparent wheels-within-wheels espionage stuff. That type of thing doesn't really do much for me.

I also have a huge problem with the increasing stratification in US culture. I really hate being reminded of it in my entertainment media. I just don't have any tolerance for it anymore, even when the fiction is being used to draw attention to real world problems.

The notion of a 'blackacre' as a sample property does seem to be an influence in some way.
