Could not agree more, Valiant may want to look into bulk sales of the original run similar to Dark Horse Digital sales of The Goon or Star Wars runs.BobBretall wrote:Valiant & Comixology are pretty bold to be selling X-O #0 for $1.99 when the chrome-covered physical comic is stacked thousands deep in 50 cent bins across the country.
I think they are really missing the boat here. All these old Valiant comics should be priced to MOVE at 99 cents instead of $1.99 each. Or even encouraged bulk buys with "1st 6 issues for $4.99" or something.
I would have picked up some of those early X-O & Harbinger issues just to have at hand on my phone if they had been 99 cents. At $1.99 it was a "no thanks".
Now, how many pages do you get for that 99 cents?BobBretall wrote:I gave this DC "digital first" a try for 99 cents:

Legends of the Dark Knight: The Butler Did It
Writer: Damon Lindleof
Artist: Jeff Lemire
Early in his career as Batman, Bruce Wayne learns a surprisingly brutal lesson in humility!
FABULOUS! This story gets a 5/5 from me, great dialogue and some really fantastic page designs by Lemire.
It's 20 pages. They are landscape pages, so there may not be as many panels as your regular 20 page book, but it's still a fantastic value.yensid4disney wrote:Now, how many pages do you get for that 99 cents?BobBretall wrote:I gave this DC "digital first" a try for 99 cents:

I agree. This was very well done. I am looking forward to reading this series on a weekly basis.BobBretall wrote:I gave this DC "digital first" a try for 99 cents:
