I wish there was a DCBS discount of the usual 35%, but I realize it's a limited printing on these editions. I'll probably wait for the Romita Sr. Spider-Man or the Eisner Spirit one.
The EC originals were bigger, thus the larger size, they try to do these at pretty much original size...... The bigger size probably has to do with the slightly higher price......

BUT, the DCBS discounts on there are not very compelling (something like 10%).....

Dark Horse: MILK AND CHEESE: DAIRY PRODUCTS GONE BAD HC

I'll record a clip for this one. I didn't know how badly I always wanted this book until I saw it solicited.

Boom solicits are out and sure enough, Traveler #12 is final issue. I really hope Bob's right and this just means the end of the first volume or the end of Stan Lee's name being on it because I really enjoy these three titles.

Big Dog Ink solicits are up......

More Critter & more Penny for Your Soul (both series I like) as well as a new mash-up between the Wild West & Oz:
LEGEND OF OZ: THE WICKED WEST #1
Written by Tom Hutchison, art by Alisson Borges.
Take a trip back over the rainbow to an Oz you never knew existed. Dorothy Gale slips on her ruby spurs after falling out of the sky and is sent off to follow the yellow brick road to the Emerald City. The only problem is -- the road is gone!
I saw a preview at Phoenix Con, I'll be checking this one out!

Not gonna get the clip done for this one. I'm leaving for a backpacking trip this afternoon, and I've been scrambling to get everything packed and ready to go.

No time for extra stuff :(

Here's my list

DC is all question marks but here's what I figure I'll be buying
Supergirl #2 (those covers look real nice so if the story's good I'll try that)
Aquaman #2 (I'm a swimmer so I'll probably be reading Aquaman for a while, but it's gonna be hard to beat Rick Veitch's take for me. Here's hoping the Secret Sea still exists in the DCnU)
Wonder Woman #2. I like WW and hoping this team does her good.
Batman #2. I haven't liked Batman for a while but I wanna like him. Here's hoping Snyder will win me over.
Action #2. We'll see
Men Of War #2 ???
Deathstroke #2 ???
Animal Man #2 ???
Huntress #1. I'm a Huntress fan but Levitz doesn't strike me as the right guy for this job. I'll flip through it at the store.
JLI #2 ???
Blue Beetle #2 ???
Flash #2???
Green Lantern #2???

But who knows. I'm determined to drop everything that doesn't blow my socks off so I might not even be reading any DC in October. We'll see.

Marvel
S.H.I.E.L.D I'm locked into this until the end
Punisher #4 Maybe, double shipping sucks so I might just get pissed and boycott this.

Image
Carbon Grey Origins. Big Fan of the first three issues. Gonna keep going on this.
Xenoholics #1. Been watching the X-Files for the first time and I have a curiosity about the subject matter, gonna give it a shot.
Feel Better Now #1. Hickman has not written anything I didn't at least like.

That's it, but as I mentioned in the call, I'm getting more interested in obscure publishers such as 215ink. If it seems to my taste and my budget permits, I'll try your recommendations from these smaller publishers.

Also, I'd like to know more about these clips you're talking about. I confess that the only podcasts so far I listened from this site are the BIS.
