Previews Spotlight #009 (July): Thurs July 3rd - 5pm pacific
The July Previews call will be on Thursday July 3rd at 5pm Pacific / 6pm Mountain / 7pm Central / 8pm Eastern.
We're thinking this is kind of like a Friday, since most people will have July 4th off. We'd rather not wait until the following week, as that will put assembling/posting the Previews episode dangerously close to when John has to leave to drive out to the San Diego Con.
As always, get on Skype around the start time (or join any time after, the call can run 4 hours of rousing comics chat) and look for thejohnmayo or BobBretall and message them to get joined into the call.
Submissions for the Previews Spotlight #009 show should be in by the end of Saturday July 5th. Of course you can start sending in submissions as soon as you have them done. Sending them in early is appreciated as it give John and I a bit more time to plan out the episode.
Remember: We encourage anyone to send in a short audio clip where they can talk about any book that's coming out in the upcoming Previews that they are really excited about.
Tips on how to record a clip can be found here
Call dibs on reviewing any particular comic on this thread.

I might have to miss the call. Our community is doing their fireworks on July 3rd. I would be the worst father in the world if I don't take my kids to see the fireworks. I will try to join you guys when I get back. I am sure that you guys would still being going by the time we get back and put the kids in bed.
I sent my files. I also added Heresy #1 from Ape to the list.

Fireworks on the 3rd instead of the 4th seems somewhat un-AmericanHassanT wrote:I might have to miss the call. Our community is doing their fireworks on July 3rd. Actually, I used to live in a town where fireworks were legal for sale & they would do the city show on the 3rd so people would still go out & buy fireworks (contributing to the city's tax-base) to blow up on the 4th.
I'm glad that my city does them on the 4th......
In any event, you're on the east coast, so I guarantee that we'll still be going when you get home from the show......
