I just noticed that there is a comic from Devil's Due called Bionic Commando which is based on the game that came out for the Commodore 64 at least 20 years ago!

So I guess it has nothing to do with the Six Million Dollar Man series... :(

Sorry about that hehehehe

But it's going to be interesting since this is what they had to work with...

Hmmm... That does seem to leave them a lot of room for interpretation. Still, it could be worth checking out.

I'm thinking of getting it for a look since I grew up loving that game!

Hey Guys...sorry but as you guessed, I couldn't submit this week. Just crazy on the home front and haven't had any time to record.

Apologies on my end as well for not putting together something. Was going to do so on Friday but I wound up on Amazing Spider-Cast for most of the night, and yesterday was MoCCA so that took up most of my time. Will try for next month however!

Best thing to do is not wait until the last day, it's easy to get overtaken by events......

I'm not meaning to pick on anyone, but on-line solicits go up mid-month on this thread...... Previews hits stores about 10 days before the deadline.

The only problem with that is I like to know prices at the various online sites before I do my picks. I also don't use Previews, and never have. I wait until I'm about to order, find items that interest me, and record about them. It might be frustrating to some, but that's the way I do it. Perhaps this month I'll try to take a look at the online solicits a bit, but old habits die hard I guess.

Fair enough practice for deciding what you're going to ultimately buy with your hard-earned cash, but on-line solicits should intrigue you to the point of know what you are interested in if cost was no object.....

It's all about what is catching your eye, and maybe even what you would buy regardless of cost because it looks so cool, as opposed to choosing based on final prices you will pay.

Just a thought.

Wow...just listened to the opening stanza of this month's episode and I felt like I was getting a "TALKING TO" old fashioned style! :) Clearly you guys were disappointed that we didn't chime in this month and I feel really badly about that b/c it was certainly my intention.

I never really think about recording these until I start finalizing my order; but Bob has the solution; I'm going to record these the day I get Previews whenever possible.

I usually get previews and go through it at work the next day and when I'm going through it I email what I want to record about home and then do it when I get home hehehe

Oh and sorry for the crashing and banging in the background. My wife was cleaning up the kitchen at the time.

Going from 32 submissions to six, (five of which were from the ever reliable Damian) was a bit of a surprise.

Part of the point of these episodes is to talk about more than just the titles that Bob and I get. To do that, we need submissions from you guys.

I know that not everybody will have the time to submit something each month. Stuff comes up. But you can send in submissions as soon as the solicitations are posted online. And you don't have to send all of your submissions in at one time. If you see something once you get Previews, great send in another submission.

We'll take the submission up until end of Saturday which is the night before we record. But all the ones we get at the last minute are ones that we have to incorporate into our show notes (and Bob does a great job organizing the agenda for these episodes) and get set up to record into the episode on that Sunday morning we record. The earlier we get the submissions, the less prep work we have to do immediately before recording the episode.

Hey guys, love the previews episodes; I'll try to contribute at some point, since I tend to like a lot of things that are never mentioned. Thanks for pointing out T Bird and Throttle; I didn't notice it and have been meaning to check out something by Josh Howard at some point.

The Gravel HC is sure tempting but I'm not sure it'll fit in the budget. I've only read Gravel #1, and I did enjoy it, and this does seem like a good deal. Plus, I could always sell it later if I don't like it... hmm... decisions, decisions... guess I just need to jack up my budget!

Some things not mentioned that I'm getting:
Local HC (oversized)
I Luv Halloween (oversized (for a manga))
Invincible 4 HC (oversized)

Local I've been waiting to read as a collection; an oversized one with a ton of extras fits the bill nicely.

I Luv Halloween is just extremely twisted and fairly repulsive, I'm not sure how I feel about this version being colored, but I'm sure it will be awesome. Actually, Ben Roman's color art in Cryptic *is* awesome, so there you go.

Invincible HC is just a given.
