Neron needs to be forgoten.
I'm torn on Neron. In some circumstances he's an awesome character, but when he's just written as the stereotypical Satan analogue, he's boring as hell. My favorite Neron appearance was in Showcase '95 #12 where he came to The Shade to make him an offer.

I should have just skipped Reign in Hell and I would have been a whole lot happier. I knew going in that this was going to be the Giffen that quickly goes off the rails rather than the one that has a strong editorial presence and gets the job done well. And I don't understand at all why Lobo was in ...

As far as Metron is concerned, I believe there are different sets of rules that govern him. While he may be a member of the Fourth World family, he is NOT a native of either New Genesis or Apokalips. I'd be interested in seeing how he got "rebooted" so it's anyone's guess as to why he loo...

I'm still trying to decide if I'm canceling or not. I'm planning on my binding my run of the '90s series and thought these HCs would be a nice addition to that. Now I'm wondering if I shouldn't just see about picking up the back issues and binding these myself as well. Even if it might cost me a li...

I can't wait to see the people who bash DC for doing this praise Marvel for letting the book get published! I, for one, think it's extremely poor form to do this (inserting fill-ins and huge delays into the middle of a story) whether you are Marvel or DC. This is regardless of slapping Jason Aaron,...

I dig the Golden Age Starman Archive. At this point, there's only one volume and the second volume comes out in June. It's great sci-fi adventure with awesome Jack Burnley art. I can't wait to get that second volume and see the Mort Meskin art.

I love me some Dale Eaglesham, but pretty much everything I have read of Hickman's up to this point has left me cold. I'll wait until a few issues of the run are out and then consider picking it up to hear the buzz on it. I haven't been reading FF since Millar and Hitch came on board, what's a few m...

Re: Starman Omnibus vol. 2

Hey all, I've got some exciting news that I'd like to share. When everyone who is getting a copy of the Starman Omnibus vol. 2 in a few weeks picks it up, be sure to check out the indicia of the book. In the "Special Thanks" section, you will see the name "Matt Kramer". Yep, tha...

Agents of Atlas - I loved this issue. I didn't pre-order it due to it being $3.99, but I picked it up in the store and already love the battle of wills between Jimmy Woo and Norman Osborn. And I loved the back-up story. I'd pay an extra $1/month if they kept putting in more back-ups like this.
