I imagine it will be the Guardian and Jimmy Olsen, with other Metropolis characters. Not unlike "World without a Superman".

How long do you think it will be before DC follows? Do you think they'll wait and see how it goes for Marvel. What does history of this kind of thing show? I get about as many Marvel titles as i do inderpendents, so it won't be so bad for me. I never minded paying a little more for indies though, be...

Hi I’m Mark, 21 at the end of the month. I first got interested in Marvel and DC superheroes watching the animated series’ in the early 90’s when I was little. The first comic I remember getting was Wolverine Unleashed #17, which was a British series that reprinted Wolverine stories from all eras of...

Action Comics 871: The Superman books are great at the moment; I really like the direction the books are heading in. These like the Green Lantern books have there own little tight continuity and I like that. In a way it’s a best weekly series since 52. Detective Comics 850: Can’t wait to read the fi...

AVATAR books have a particularly strong smell. I can’t imagine what they’ll smell like in 20 years.

DC use the term omnibus for some of their Jack Kriby collections like the Fourth World stuff and The Demon. Which are just thick hard covers really.

I enjoyed this episode. I don’t collect figures or statues myself, but it was interesting to hear the similarities and differences it has to collecting comics.

It really depends on whose doing the fill in issue, and how much I’m enjoying the run. When it’s one of those “day in the life” or “flashback” stories you can see a mile off, I just skip it. But if it’s by the regular writer and may pay off later, like that Prankster story in Busieks Superman run (w...

I’ve never read any of the Marvel Conan. I like the character, but found the first Busiek trade ok, but not great. I’d be interested to hear about the older stuff.

I prefer the Archives over the Showcases. I got a few the silverage superhero showcases, but I’m not a big fan of DC’s storytelling style from that era. I’d get about half way though, loose interest then never get back to them. So the Archives, although much more expensive, are just the right amount...
